Local people and activist slow progress
In recent weeks the UK has started to hit road blocks in its renewable energy goals due to local communities and rogue activist groups.

Earlier this month, the ASA1 condemned RUNGA, an anti-wind group, for releasing material to the public that was in accurate and designed to mislead the public on the issues surrounding wind power. Earlier this week the BBC2 announced that the Scottish Executive has plans to block the Lewis wind farm project; folding to public pressure. The constant blocking of wind farm proposals in the UK may start to become problematic to the green energy movement and hamper the lowering of the green house emissions.

ASA

BBC News

green energy supplier
