Events - Where to Meet the Candidate
October 24, 2008 Thursday at 7 pm Meet the Candidates Night. The event will be held at the Whitmore Lake High School at 7430 Whitmore Lake Road at 7 pm and is sponsored by the Northfield Area Whitmore Lake Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy the opportunity to meet your candidates, hear there views and ask them questions.
July CRGN Coffee with the Candidates! Every Saturday in July from 8 am till 10 am the CRGN endorsed candidates will be available for you to meet and greet them. Ask questions and let them know what concerns you may have. Deb will be on hand for all four of them. Schedule is:
July 5th at the Whitmore Lake Coney Island
July 12th at the Peaberry Bean Coffee and Tea Company
July 19th at the Whitmore Lake Tavern
July 26th at Gloria's Fine Food Restaurant

Meet and greet coffee hour. Deb will be available to answer questions about herself, her background and share her visions of a future Northfield Township. Look for Deb at the Meet on Main. The event is sponsored by the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce and showcases various business and offerings in our community. From 6 pm till dusk there will be something for the whole family! Stop by the CRGN table and see what all the buzz is about.

Deb has enrolled in the Township Governance Academy, an accredited educational curriculum offered by the Michigan Township Association. The association is formed with the following mission:
“The Michigan Townships Association promotes the interests of 1,242 townships by fostering strong, vibrant communities; advocating legislation to meet 21st century challenges; developing knowledgeable township officials and enthusiastic supporters of township government; and encouraging ethical practices of elected officials who uphold the traditions and unique characteristics of township government and the values of the people of Michigan.”
First up is a presentation on the “Hidden Treasure: The Secret to Your Township’s Success in the New Economy” presentation is on April 23, 2008
