Hi neighbors, I am past president of the Poetry Society of Michigan and we have been chosen to host the 2011 NFSPS convention. This exciting event will be held in the Metro Detroit area at a wonderful historic inn located in Dearborn, Michigan. The Dearborn Inn was built in 1936 by Henry Ford and famed architect, Albert Kahn. It remains a beautiful, classic hotel, yet with all modern amentities.
I wish to invite our fellow poets from Ohio to mark this event on your calendars and keep a watchful eye on future Strophes for more details. We are planning three days of poetry workshops, readings and commaraderie with poets from across the country and we truly hope the poets in Ohio will plan to attend.
