The Bookmarks module allows you to share online bookmarks, which are links to sites you want to share with your network.
To create a new bookmark click on 'Add new entry' and enter a URL you wish to bookmark. Click 'Next' and the system will automatically search for the URL and update the entry with descriptions/tags and favicon (where available). You can add your own description and/or edit any of these details before clicking Save.
Note: if the Favicon URL is not a full URL (for example if the url looks like this: /favicon.ico) then you will need to add the website's URL before this (so the favicon URL should read: http://fullsitename.com/favicon.ico)
Settings
Choose the amount of entries per page.
Collaborative mode - allow members of your site to create their own bookmarks that will be displayed in this module.
Show search form - display a search box allowing viewers to search for a particular bookmark.
Show A-Z 0-9 - display a quick navigation allowing viewers to jump directly to bookmarks starting with a specific letter or number.
Show descriptions - display the description for each bookmark.
Allow replication – allow other users to replicate the bookmarks module including its content, and display the bookmarks on their network.
