01/02/2009-pressent: Research Scientist a senior research position at the Energy, Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC) of the Cyprus Institute which is being established in close collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Coordinator of three research projects funded by the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF) with the total budget of 200,000 € in collaboration with the Colloids and Physical Chemistry Research Lab and Research Center of Ultrafast Science at the University of Cyprus and the Electrical Engineering & Electronics at the University of Liverpool. Co-founder of the laser-based lab at the EEWRC to supervise its daily operations driving both the scientific agenda and the operational aspects of the lab in close collaboration with the University of Toronto, University of South Florida, other USA and UK Universities/Institutes.
