Is there an age restriction?  Our youngest member at the moment is 7 years old.  As long as you can meet the minimum swimming requirement of the club and there is a space in your ability group you can join.

Does it cost anything?  Yes, fees are paid monthly by direct debit and there will be other expenses during the life of your membership such as travel costs and figure entry fees for competitions.  You may also want to purchase tracksuits, t-shirts, kit bags etc.

Do I need any special equipment?  All you need to begin with is a one piece swimsuit for girls or proper swimming trunks for boys, a swimming hat and goggles.  Nose clips are essentail and are available to buy at the club.
