Some of the more
natural ways to induce labor are ones you wouldn't normally associate with starting the labor process. Sexual intercourse, exercise and
house work are relatively safe ways to jump start your labor. All of these require muscles to work which could start contractions. Lifting laundry baskets or
other children can sometimes have the effect of triggering contractions. Having sex (if not too uncomfortable) or employing nipple stimulation can release
hormones that will help the uterus contract and the cervix to soften.
Many women have found that
acupressure for labor helped them more than any other form of inducement. It’s an easy, safe and natural form of inducement. It costs nothing and you can have your partner apply it.
