... otro casamiento! Pero según fuentes confiables, esta vez se viene de día (dicho sea de paso, siempre me gustaron los casamientos de día, así que estaré en mi salsa!)... Y obviamente que la idea es estrenar un vestido nuevo, qué les parecen estos que anduve mirando por la red?

Siguiendo con la onda de David Bowie y la década del ´80, les muestro algunos looketes con los que definitivamente me encantaría arrancar mis 28 (y que combinarían muy bien con mis nuevos zapatos):

... cantaba David Bowie allá por 1983. Y es que hoy fue imposible no recordar ese clásico, después de recibir nada más ni nada menos que mi primer regalo de cumpleaños, por parte de mis viejos (a un mes y medio de aterrizar en mis 28!) / ... used to sing David Bowie in 1983... And today I was remembering that song all day, because my parents gave me this precious birthday gift (although my B-Day it´s coming in a month and fourteen days!):

Pero el dilema es... es necesario sí o sí usarlos con algo rojo?
Entonces me puse a mirar algunas vidrieras cibernéticas... (seguro que mi amiga Sol me va a ayudar):

Realmente, debo reconocer que esta parte del blog la tenía re-abandonada... Pero sinceramente no encontraba algo que me inspirara, y como todo está tan caro, tampoco me estoy comprando demasiada pilcha, en comparación con otros años.
Siguiendo la movida recesionista, de la mano de mi amiga y par Solcito, soy una de esas personas que están convencidísimas que con un accesorio o con un detalle, podemos renovar de "O" nuestro placard, y hacer quizás lucir a nuestras "viejas" prendas como nuevas.
Como muchos ya saben, si hay algo que me fascinan, son las pantys "raras"... Por eso, hoy me quedé atrapada con estas creaciones, "importadas" desde el mismísimo Palermo Soho... quiénes son? Artoaplicado se llaman! Y no solamente se dedican a hacer estas medias, sino también, leggins y guantes haciendo juego!!! qué paquetería....

Sincerely, I must recognize that I´ve just abandoned this part of my blog... But on the other hand, I couldn´t find something that really motivates me to write... and also, that clothes are lately sooo expensive, that I don´t buy clothes in months! (and that´s weird in me...)
Following the "Recessionist Wave", promoted by my friend and blogger Solcito, I´m one of those people that is convinced that when you put on an accessorie or some little detail, you can renovate "old" clothes in a 100% new look!
As you already know, if there is something that I adore are the "weird" pantys, That´s why today I was really impressed when I saw these creations... who are they? They are Artoaplicado and you can find them in Buenos Aires city, in Palermo Soho. They create not only pantys but also gloves and leggins, everything matching with everything! So cute...

Regalitos & Shopping ´2010

Hace rato debía este posteo, para contarles algunos de los regalitos que recibí en mi último cumple (aquí me voy a referir a los que tienen que ver con mi placard, en la sección belleza les contaré sobre los demás!).
Como sabrán, están a full los colores bien shocking, que me encanta combinar con accesorios (collares, flores) más bien nude.... así que este par de remeras me vinieron al pelo:

Miren esta otra, de adelante no dice nada...

pero la popa es interesante, no me digan que no!

Con capris, jeans, chupines... y con el cinturón del posteo anterior, cómo las ven?

Pero también, el domingo se me dio por hacer un makeover de placard (bueno, en realidad también tiré una cantidad importante de otras porquerías) para arrancar el año más liviana y desprenderme un poco de aquellas prendas, zapatos, y demás accesorios, que hoy por hoy siento que ya fueron, ya sea porque están muy usados o porque estoy segura que ya no me los voy a poner más.
Y tirando tirando, me di cuenta que necesitaba algún par de remeras más presentables para ir a trabajar... así que hoy aproveché un poquitín el aguinaldo y salí un rato de shopping... a ver qué les parecen mis comprillas (hasta ahora, porque ya les voy adelantando que va a haber una segunda parte):

... necesitaba algo más bien romántico, con puntillitas... y me gustó para combinarla con esta pollera que ya tenía:

... pero a ver: necesitaba algo más "loco" pero a la vez fresco y cómodo para este pesado verano... y entonces la ví, y me enamoré:

Bueno, eso es todo por hoy... acepto opiniones, tips, posibles combinaciones y.... en qué les parece que debería seguir invirtiendo?? (aparte de un nuevo pantalón negro de vestir, que quemé hace poco con la plancha...!).

Primer regalo / First Gift

Como todos saben (o deberían saberlo, jajaja!), mi cumple es en 10 días... Y hoy recibí mi primer regalo! (y obvio que lo abrí, no podía esperar! -y tampoco creo en eso de la mala suerte si lo abrís antes-).
Analía es una persona que quiero un montón, mi mentora... me ha enseñado muchísimas cosas a lo largo de mi carrera, cuando estudiaba, y ahora también que somos colegas. Hoy que finalmente nos vimos, me sorprendió con este regalito:

As you all already know (or you should know :)), my birthday is in 10 days... Today I received my first gift (and obviously I opened it up, I couldn´t wait much longer! -and I really don´t believe in those who say that unlucky things happen when you open a present before it´s your b-day!-).
Analía is a very special person for me, my mentor... She taught me lots of things when I was a student, and she still teachs me now, that we are colleagues. Today I could finally visit her, and she surprised me with this gift:

No es hermoso?? Ella me dijo que cuando lo fue a comprar me imaginó usándolo con algo negro, como una pollera!
Y la verdad, no se equivoca, porque soy de usar mucho el negro, más que nada cuando voy a trabajar... pero no resulta un poco "chocante"?

Ayer miraba un video de una hermosa cantante de la década del ´70: Pepa Flores, más bien conocida como Marisol.
Me quedé tildada con el vestido que lleva puesto, pero sobre todo de esas mangas acampanadas (o "angel sleeves"):

Etnia & Sex and the City

Si hay algo que me pone muy contenta es cuando veo o leo que alguien que admiro, es reconocido o elogiado por su trabajo. Me da fuerza y me llena de inspiración!
La noticia de ayer fue que Benito Fernandez, diseñador argentino con una larga trayectoria fue elegido nada más ni nada menos por Patricia Field y Sarah Jessica Parker para que parte de su última colección (Etnia) se muestre en la segunda parte de la peli "Sex & the City", qué tal?
Etnia, está inspirada en los viajes del diseñador por Salta, México, Perú y Bolivia. La prenda estrella de esta colección es el mini vestido, ceñido en la cintura y escote halter. Además hay pantalones holgados que se llevan con tops y petos de colores. La clave está en el mix, con telares étnicos y latinos, con detalles de gasa, seda natural y brocato. El look se completa con originales collares, pulseras, sombreros y flores en un auténtico pot pourri latinoamericano.

If there´s something that fill me with joy and inspiration, is when I see or read that someone who I admire, is recognized for his/her work.
Yesterday I read that Benito Fernandez, an argentine designer with a brilliant career, was chosen by Patricia Field and Sarah Jessica Parker. Part of hes collection (Etnia) is going to be showed in the second part of the film "Sex & the City".
Etnia is inspired in the trips that this designer made through Salta, Mexico, Peru and Bolivia. The main cloth is the mini-dress, waist-tight and the halter neckline. Also, the baggy pants with tops and colourful "petos". The key is the mix: ethnic and latin looms with details in gauze, natural silk and brocato. The look is complet with authentic necklaces, bracelets, hats and flowers.

Por paradójico que suene, este ícono de la moda cree que no existe evolución creativa sin momentos de crisis como los que estamos viviendo.
"Se terminó el brillo, y las alfombras rojas con piedras preciosas no van más".

Así que miremos nuestro placard con otros ojos, dándole vida a nuestras "viejas" prendas, con toques personales: prendedores, bordados, apliques... en la singularidad, está la distinción!

LANVIN!!!
Esta chica sí que es adicta de los magníficos vestidos de este diseñador (y quién no lo sería...)
Su adicción se remonta al año 2005, cuando usó uno de ellos para los Oscars, ocasión donde estuvo nominada como mejor actríz de reparto en la peli "Closer". Aunque no ganó, su fascinación quedó, y aquí la tenemos en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto, hace un par de días atrás...

This girl is really addicted to this designer´s magnific dresses (and who won´t be...) since 2005, when she wore one for the Oscars (she was nominated for "Best Actress Cast" in the film "Closer"). Although she didn´t win, her fascination for Lanvin remained, and here is she a few days ago at the Toronto International Film Festival:
