London Transport Museum is hosting a Flickr scavenger hunt on Sunday 6th July in Covent Garden as part of the events for the London Festival of Architecture 2008. Focusing on the transport network's quirky design features, in a race against time teams of photographers will have to unlock a series of cryptic clues in order to snap roundels, station murals and much more. Have you got what it takes to get all the shots and make it back to the Museum? Prizes for the first team back (with the most correct answers), and - voted by the public - the best team and the best picture uploaded on Flickr.

Hello scavengers!

If you've clicked though to this page it might be because you're a little bit interested in what Qype is or does... or you were just wondering how it was pronounced, which is fair enough.

Ok, so first off, it's pronounced kw-ipe (but really we don't mind how you say it as long as you think it's cool and interesting).

So what makes us cool and interesting? Well, we're the biggest user-generated reviews site in Europe, which basically means that we're a massive community of people who go out, eat, enjoy a few drinks, have some fun times and experiences and then tell the world about it all. That's all there is to it really.

Of course you can use Qype to find the best places near to you (we have a mobile version for when you're on the move and an iPhone version for when you're on the iMove) or you can get stuck in by signing up, writing your own reviews, uploading pictures and videos, joining some of the groups, and creating your own personal guides to the places you love (or loathe).

If you want to know a bit more take a look a our About page, or just dive right in via our sign up page (we've got a competition on right now, to win an adventure holiday to Brazil, so if beach buggies are your thing then you're in luck). We've also got a couple of blogs you can read: Qype Vibes (for the day-to-day Qype stuff) and Qype does London for all your capital-related goodness.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this. Hope to see you on Qype soon.

 - The Qype Team.
