There are a number of communities in Milton Keynes who are working towards Local Shared Ministry. An LSM “community” could be an existing church, a fresh expression or a partnership. Each of these communities is assigned a companion from the Project Group who is to act as principle contact and mentor.

The Project Group reviews the ongoing development of each community at its regular meetings. Members of communities are invited to attend LSM events and take part in discussions and conversations about the nature of ministry and Church.

The following communities are currently part of the LSM programme in Milton Keynes:

New communities can join the programme through a discussion with the Project Group. Membership of the LSM project is subject to the approval of appropriate denominational and eccumenical bodies.
