From the Committee - belated but very sincere Best Wishes for the New Year and the last half of the season!! It was good to get out last weekend and referee again after a very long break. In my game at Liobians, 5 players pulled up with cramp. This is probably down to a Christmas training diet of strong lager and selection boxes!!

2010 was an outstanding year for us – and I genuinely feel proud of the great work we have achieved and the progress we have made. This year promises to be even better – and simply requires you as members to continue to support our meetings and SPREAD THE WORD!!!!
We are absolutely delighted to have our great friend Jack Blakemore present at this month’s (January) meeting. Jack is an exceptional FA Tutor and has produced presentations of the highest quality for a number of years. He is innovative, inventive and inspiring – someone who combines a sharp wit with lots of match clips and game situations that simply bulge with controversy and debate. Jack is a Master of his Trade and must not be missed!!!!!! His presentation is called...

“I’m Alright Jack – Sometimes!!”

Ray Olivier from the PGMOL has confirmed his attendance in February (24th) and of course we have our next RA-FA night in March (10th) to look forward to. This will build on the success of the Howard Webb event in November and with our guest Premier League Referee Peter Walton presenting – it is going to be a different – but I think even bigger success than before. Peter is a natural comedian and his delivery is fantastic!!

We are close to announcing more details of our new Youth Committee – and I am so pleased about the response our younger referees have provided.
