Children can wear the Summer Uniform from after the Easter holidays.
They should then continue to wear Summer Uniform after they return from the summer holidays - winter uniform will apply after the October Half Term Holiday.
Uniform Handover!
Following a brilliant handover from Val & Karen, Sadie Weal, Jane Donnelly and Debbie Siddle are now well into their first year of running the school's Uniform Shop.
Order forms etc. have been amended providing you with our contact details. There is a stock of them in the school office and they will shortly be uploaded to the website.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Uniform Ordering Process
We would just like to remind parents of the process for ordering any uniform items. Please could you note and action the following:-
-
complete the appropriate 'Uniform' or 'Sports Kit' order form (available from this website or from Mrs Cook)

hand the form with full payment (cash or cheque) for the item(s) you require to either Mrs Cook, myself (Karen) or Val when you see us about.

check with Mrs Cook a few days after placing the order to see if it is ready for you to collect - we do try and let you know when it is ready, but occassionally we do forget! so it's worth a quick check.

let us know if you wish to swap any items ordered if they do not fit properly, providing the item is in the same condition as it was when purchased we would be happy to exchange for another size (or refund if the alternative is not appropriate)
If you have any queries prior to placing your order please do not hesitate to contact us either in person, by telephone or by email (all contact details are on the website and/or order forms). Likewise if we are out of stock of any items ordered we will contact you when processing your order so please remember to include contact details on the form.
It is getting more and more difficult for us to process 'verbal' requests, mainly because the number of these has increased of late and our brains can't cope with remembering the requests! but also because we run the shop on a 'volunteer' basis and as verbal requests do not include payment we have spent a lot of our own time over the last few school months following up payments for items given out some considerable time beforehand.
However, If anyone requires 'nearly new' items, these can be obtained on a verbal request as we do not include items in stock on our order forms. So please do catch one of us if you'd like us to look for anything in particular. These items will also be available at all uniform sales that we hold during term time.

Uniform Hints & Tips
- Name all items of clothing
- Jewellery should not be worn at school (children with pierced ears who have to wear earrings should wear studs, not hooped rings, and these must be removed for P.E.)
- P.E. Kits should be in a named drawstring bag (available from the uniform shop)
- Coats should be either the school coat featured within this brochure or dark in colour.
- Shoes (or sandals) should be brown, black or navy (trainers or open-toed sandals are not permitted)
- Summer Uniform is usually worn after the Easter Break - up to the end of the school year in July. However, this extends into the start of the new school year in September until the October half term if the weather is still good.
- Winter Uniform is usually (weather permitting)from the October Half term until the Easter Break.
Nearly New
Please Note:
Please do not pass to us any nearly new items that are not on the list below. We have recently been inundated with 'non-logo'd' items (e.g white cotton shirts, plain green jumpers etc.) which we cannot re-sell and have to recycle ourselves. If you could please refer to the 'acceptable' list it would help us immensly. We just do not have the space, interest for re-sale or the time to sort and dispose of the items ourselves. Many thanks for your continuing support.
We have built up a stock of good quality second hand school uniform items. All second hand uniform items are £1 each. We will hold uniform sales at least once a term and will also have stalls at the Summer and Christmas Fete. Please ask us if you wish to look through any of these items outside of these sales times.
Given the great response to donating outgrown uniform, can we please ask that any items donated should fall into the catergories below only:-
- Green gingham checked school dresses
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirts & pinafores
- Green school jumpers only (i.e. only those with the Langton School emblam on)
- School Polo Shirts or T-Shirts only (i.e. only those with the Langton School emblam on)
- Any accessories with school logo on (rucksacks, PE Bags, Bookbags etc.)
Please ensure your items are in good condition (i.e. no holes, permanent stains etc.) and do not pass on any socks, shoes, plimsoles or non-logo'd items that are not listed above. Please also remove all names tags and hand your items to either Karen or Val or to Mrs Cook.
Apologies if this list seems a little 'picky' but there are some items that we have excessive stocks of, that have not proved popular and we simply do not have room to store the additional items, we also spend a lot of our own time sorting through items that cannot be re-sold and either disposing of them or passing them to charity ourselves.
