Interesting thought Jmag... but what about the fall of all the other kingdoms throughout history where God's people dwelt? Even in the days of the NT being written... Paul & Peter are writing in the midst of a great coming persecution and the fall of the Great Roman Empire. A multitude of believers faced great turmoil in the fall of that world powers demise... Why would America be any different. Just as those other Great Nations were made up of both believers and non-believers so is the America we know... Just a thought.

The reason I don't think America will fall before the rapture is God told Abraham he would not destroy Soddom and Gomorah if there were 5 righteous persons in the city. I believe for the same reasons God has blesed the US, the believing Christians, He will not let it fall. I also believe the rapture is right around the corner and like Soddom and Gomorah when Gods people are gone the judgement will come.
