We are a multi disciplinary agency of lawyers, investigators, social workers, IT professionals, communication & lobbying experts that delivers an end to end service that starts at prevention progresses into prosecution and ensures continual protection and care for victims of exploitation and abuse.
While we work independently to investigate and assist the State in the prosecution of perpetrators and protect the victims of these crimes, we also work in close partnership with various stakeholders to help strengthen and further develop their infrastructure and capability to fight these crimes on an ongoing basis.
In South Asia we have 3 mobile multidisciplinary units based out of offices in Mumbai, Bangalore & Calcutta. Through the presence of these mobile multidisciplinary units in these cities we support the State in covering human trafficking cases in southern, western and eastern part India and individual cases from Bangladesh and Nepal. Over the next 3 years we plan on establishing more multidisciplinary teams in South Asia and develop our presence in Europe and other regions internationally with a view to coordinate the prosecution of transnational human trafficking cases.
Working with the State and civil society to combat all forms of Human trafficking, Forced Labour, Bonded Labour, Child Labour, Slavery, Child abuse,Paedophilia and transnational cases of human trafficking trafficking. We also specialise in tracing and rescuing Missing children, providing Victim protection, developing Community intervention programs in urban and rural areas, Policy development on child protection and human trafficking and support on a case by case basis legal and aftercare support for victims of other forms of injustice prevelant in society today.

Justice and Care Bangalore, Karnataka police on the 7th of July rescue 1 minor girl and 7 young girls who were trafficked into the sex trade. Three perpetrators were charged under the local penal laws and anti-trafficking laws. All 8 girls have disclosed how they were trafficked and forced into the sex trade.
Justice & Care, State prosecution and Karnataka police on the 14th of July 2010 secure a conviction against 3 perpetrators for 10 years in prison and a fine of Rs 10,000 for attempting to murder a two and a half year old that was forced to work for them as a domestic slave.
Justice and Care Bangalore, Karnataka police, State and allied agencies on the 16th of April, 2010 rescue 36 children between 10-14 years of age trafficked from Bihar and Jharkhand (Central India) to Karnataka for forced child labour at 3 plastic processing units. 2 Key perpetrators so far have been arrested and charged under the Indian Penal Code and local anti-trafficking laws.
Justice and Care and the Bangalore police rescued a 14 year old child who was trafficked from Bangladesh into India (Bangalore) by her lover boy. 5 perpetrators have been arrested under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the local anti-trafficking prevention Act.
On the 4th of February, 2010 Justice and Care and the Bangalore Police rescued 4 children between 11-16 years of age who were trafficked for child and bonded labour from Tamil Nadu to Karnataka. The police have charged 3 perpetrators under the Indian penal code and the local child/bonded labour abolition laws.
On the 8th of March, 2010, Justice & Care and Bangalore police rescued a 14-15 year old girl and a major girl who were trafficked from rural Karnataka to Bangalore city and sold into the sex trade. The main perpetrator has been arrested and charged under the Indian Penal Code and local anti-trafficking law.
Justice & Care and Bangalore police on the 19th of February, 2010 rescued a 14 year old child who was trafficked for the sex trade to Bangalore. She was rescued before she was sold into the sex trade. 3 perpetrators have been arrested and charged under the Indian Penal Code and the local anti-trafficking law.
Justice and Care and Mumbai police on the 29th of June, 2010 rescued 3 young girls all of whom were trafficked and forced into the sex trade in Mumbai. 2 perpetrators have been charged under the local penal and anti-trafficking law.
On the 16th of July, 2010 Justice and Care, State prosecution and Mumbai police secure a conviction of 2 years against a perpetrator for trafficking 2 minors and 6 adults into the sex trade. All 8 girls were rescued in 2008.
Justice and Care and Mumbai police on the 12th of May, 2010 rescued 2 trafficked girls from a brothel on the outskirts of Mumbai. The main perpetrator has been arrested and charged under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the local anti-trafficking law.
On the 7th of December, 2009 a Mumbai court sentenced a trafficker to 7 years in prison for trafficking 3 minors and 1 major girl into the sex trade. Justice & Care rescued these girl in May,2008. State prosecution, Mumbai police and Justice & Care lawyers played a key role in supporting the court to reach its decision.
Kolkata
Justice and Care and Kolkata police rescue 3 minors and 2 young girls on the 25th of June, 2010 all of whom were trafficked into the sex trade. 3 perpetrators were arrested are charged under the local penal and anti-trafficking laws.
Justice and Care and the Kolkata police intercepted and rescued a 17 year old minor girl on the 14th of March, 2010 as she was being trafficked across India in an attempt to exploit her in the ongoing sex trade in different cities across India.
Justice and Care and the Kolkata police rescued a 16 year minor girl and 23 year old women from the sex trade on the 16th of March, 2010.
On the 17th of December, 2009, Kolkata police and Justice & Care rescued 3 children between 9-12 years of age from forced child labour. They were trafficked from Central India to West Bengal under the pretext of better education by the trafficker. Two owners have been arrested and charged under the Indian Penal Code and anti child & bonded labour laws.
