Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) might sound a little bizarre to the average person.  It is the process of tapping on the body’s meridian points (those used in acupuncture) while repeating to yourself affirmations that support the health goal you’re trying to reach.  It’s something you can do for yourself, and doesn’t require you to go to any health care professional.  Lots of people are finding relief from many different problems, including joint pain.

There are those out there that are making money off of the technique, but anyone can do the research and perform the technique on themselves.  Buying tapes and things isn’t necessary—you can learn to do it for yourself.  There are even charts available which will show you where the meridian points are and give sample affirmations of what you might say.  Whatever you might think about it, there are those that swear by the relief that they are receiving from their joint pain.
