Message from the Hon Sec Vice President

Greetings to you all and on behalf of the Brighton & Hove City branch, I would like to reiterate some of our aims and objects in order to progress with members and the community at large.

Our major event is the annual Act of Remembrance Service which is held by rotation in each of the four Synagogues. This also gives us the opportunity to maintain friendly relations with other organisations and dignitaries in the City. We also arrange social functions which are not only entertaining but a golden opportunity to meet others for a chat and swap notes on who's who. So when the next event occurs, please come along and if you can sing or perform all the better!!
 
As many of you know we like to keep track of those in need of help or guidance, so welfare is another aspect which is raised in confidence at a meeting......Help is at hand for a variety of causes.
 
Membership of AJEX is open to those who have served in one way or another including in Israel. Please enquire from me on 01273 772798

As with similar organisations, it requires help to progress and in this respect we are seeking the assistance of a treasurer of either sex (who need not be a member of AJEX).
 
As many of you know we have our very own Jewish Military Museum which I am sure many would like to visit in the summer.
