Hello to all!

This is my very first "official" blog post...ever! I guess in this post I will just explain:

• why I started my own blog site...
• what I'm about...
• and what you can expect from me on here.

WHY I STARTED MY OWN BLOG SITE

I've been meaning to do a written blog for awhile now, but had been stalling. Why? Well, from the time I was a little girl all the way till the end of high school...I was a major writer, with my specialty being creative writing. It is one of my biggest passions and I excelled at it. However, after starting college, I didn't really have the time to do my creative writing because of a hectic class and work schedule. So it was put on the back burner. The harsh realities and responsibilities of the adult world started to take over. Even though I was still writing (during the first few years of college), it was now mainly for class assignments, such as essays (which I absolutely hate!!!). I don't like having to be "forced" and "restricted" on writing about topics that I don't really care for.

Anywhoo...I started noticing I was more stressed and more miserable. It was all just bottled up inside of me, and I had no outlet to release it in a positive way. So frustrated I became. It has been 5 years since I did any serious writing. Now I see why I was miserable. I wasn't doing the one thing I loved the most. Writing!

I must say though...it's not easy getting back into the whole writing process. I kind of feel like I lost my "mojo" or something, LOL! I'm using the blogging platform to get myself back into writing(typing) on a regular basis. I was actually going to start my first blog for business purposes since I do internet marketing now, but I figured I would start on a more personal aspect then eventually branch off into more.

Real brief bio on myself: I am 24 years old, an Aries (the BEST zodiac sign of all!!), currently live in Alaska (will be moving by the end of the year), mother of a 5 yr old boy, have been in a long-term relationship for almost the past 3 years and am engaged to a wonderful man who I love dearly. I'm an entrepreneur who is involved in internet marketing and will also be launching my gift basket business in 2009. My entire family is from St. Thomas U.S.V.I. and I was born in Frankfurt, Germany (former army brat). I have a younger sister, and I'm an Auntie of a 1 yr old nephew. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME ON HERE

Well, for this blog, I don't have a particular "theme". Just mainly my ramblings and thoughts on different topics, or discussing whatever I'm currently going through in life; which I do sometimes on YouTube but it's much easier for me to type it out rather than having the hassle of recording, editing, and uploading a video on there. Express my creative abilities where I will post some of my old short stories and new ones that I plan to create (in an e-book format), my graphic design work, drawings, etc. I will be promoting on here(not as frequent because I will have another blog soon specifically for my online work) a few of the things that I market online and websites that I launch (I have several that I'm launching very, very soon...so stay tuned for that). Since I work at home and on the computer all day, I tend to find A LOT of cool stuff on the internet. So I will post my great findings to share with all my subscribers. Also, besides the blog, I have several other sections to this site. I have the "Videos" section, where I will post a Featured Video that I really like, and list videos that I'm currently watching on YouTube or other sites. The "Games" section, I have game widgets posted and/or links to gaming sites. I will post my scores in each and then challenge you all to see who can beat my score. In the near future, I will start giving away prizes to those who can maintain the highest scores. In the "Chat" section is my chatroom, you might catch me in there from time to time.
