Route Reconnaissance
0 Comments- Add comment Written on 18-Aug-2008 by JimGilliganPlease join us for a ride of the Northwest (Howell) loop. We will meet this Monday, July 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. Brighton.
The goal is to finalize the route so we can map it.
With luck we will be able to ride the other three loops over the following three weeks to finalize them.

We don’t need anything. You don’t need a permit. Plenty of cycling groups have tours with more than 100 cyclists and no permit. Common sense is the only requirement. Often groups notify the Sheriff’s Department and fax them a route map so that they are aware. If for some reason, there is improved comfort with a permit we then would need a certificate of insurance with us as additional insured. This can sometimes ruin a fun outing if your underwriter gets overly risk-adverse. Your call.
