Checa, Rumania y Rusia. Funciona como una marca genuina para la tribu electr&amp;oacute;nica y hasta incluso vi gente con el s&amp;iacute;mbolo de las tres gotas tatuado en algunos brazos. Es un caso de branding!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Y por qu&amp;eacute; es tan relevante? Creo que por algunas razones: es abierto, por lo que incluso si no eres parte de la tribu igual est&amp;aacute;s invitado. Es una red social que reune a gente real (como una flash &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=flash+mob+buenos+aires&amp;amp;search_type=&amp;amp;aq=-1&amp;amp;oq=flash+mob+buenos+aire" title="Mob"&gt;mob&lt;/a&gt; que dura toda la noche). Acerca las &amp;uacute;ltimas tendencias en m&amp;uacute;sica, iluminaci&amp;oacute;n, sonido y video. Los mejores shows y DJ's por supuesto, pero quiz&amp;aacute; la principal raz&amp;oacute;n de su &amp;eacute;xito es porque es realmente consistente. Cada evento se supera por lo que si te perdiste alguno no te debiera desilusionar el que viene. Hay muchos eventos que intentan imitarlo, pero cuando llega la fecha de Creamfields la escena se revoluciona. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;En t&amp;eacute;rminos de dise&amp;ntilde;o CF tiene una de las identidades m&amp;aacute;s simples, pero hay algo divertido en esto: el logo es muy corporativo por lo que Creamfields se muestra a si mismo no s&amp;oacute;lo como un evento, sino que asume que es una corporaci&amp;oacute;n. &lt;a href="http://www.findownersearch.com/brand/3838448/" target="_blank"&gt;La Corporaci&amp;oacute;n de la Fiesta&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Las empresas debieran aprender de este caso? This festival is maybe one of the biggest (if not the biggest) and has several franchises all over the world: there are CF in &lt;span class="NewsContent"&gt;UK, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Malta, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Russia&lt;/span&gt;. It works like a genuine brand for the electronic tribe and I've seen even some guy tattooed with the three drops symbol. It's a branding case!&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;em&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;em&gt;Why it is so relevant? I think for some reasons: It's open, so even if you're not from the tribe you're invited. It's a social network gathering real people (like an all night long &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=flash+mob+buenos+aires&amp;amp;search_type=&amp;amp;aq=-1&amp;amp;oq=flash+mob+buenos+aire" title="Mob"&gt;mob&lt;/a&gt;). It brings the last trends in music, lightning, sound and video. The best shows and DJ's of course but maybe the main reason is because is really consistent. Each year event is better than the last one so if you missed one you won't be desappointed. There are tons of events trying to imitate it, but once the event is closer the scene simply explodes.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;em&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;em&gt;In terms of the design they've got one of the more simple identities but there's something funny in it: the logo is truly corporate so Creamfields shows itself not only like an event, they assume they are a corporation, &lt;a href="http://www.findownersearch.com/brand/3838448/" target="_blank"&gt;the Party Corporation&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;em&gt;Do the companies have to learn from it? Donde est&amp;aacute;n mis chispas!"&gt;no tan honesto&lt;/a&gt; para muchos (futuros) usuarios desilusionados. Dise&amp;ntilde;ada para ser un caballo de batalla moderno en la tradici&amp;oacute;n de las sans como Univers y Helvetica, pero sin las idiosincrasias de esta &amp;uacute;ltma y las extremas correcciones &amp;oacute;pticas de la primera, Paralucent cubre un amplio rango de pesos (de hairline a heavy). Usada prominentemente en la revista brit&amp;aacute;nica Loaded.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Por qu&amp;eacute;? Porque a simple vista pareciera una cl&amp;aacute;sica, pero cuando te acercas te das cuenta que en realidad es otra cosa. Es simple, sin ornamentos, amable pero rigurosa, imperfecta a prop&amp;oacute;sito pero con detalles muy singulares. Adem&amp;aacute;s, es un poco mas ancha de lo que parece... &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ahora es tu turno. Cu&amp;aacute;l ser&amp;iacute;as y por que? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;=====&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Following Jason Santa Maria's &lt;a href="http://jasonsantamaria.com/articles/if-you-were-a-typeface" target="_blank"&gt;article&lt;/a&gt;, I think it became spontaneously into an interesting &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme" target="_blank" title="Que es un meme?"&gt;meme&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Typography is not only about legibility and style. Designers take too much time to select the right choice that suits &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;the &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;writing personality in order to deliver a plus to the text. If We do this work all the time, I think It could be a nice personal identity exercise.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;If I have to define myself, I would specify &lt;a href="http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/device/paralucent/" target="_blank" title="Paralucent family"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Paralucent&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, created by &lt;a href="http://www.devicefonts.co.uk/" target="_blank" title="Device Fonts"&gt;Rian Hughes&lt;/a&gt;. Designed to be a workhorse modern sans in the tradition of Univers and Helvetica, but without the idiosyncrasies of the latter and the extreme optical corrections of the former. Paralucent covers a very wide range of weights (hairline to heavy). Used prominently in the British magazine &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;Loaded.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Why? M viene de M&amp;oacute;vil y apunta a viajeros de negocios, compradores, pasajeros de fin de semana y hasta mochileros. La idea es &amp;quot;lujo accesible&amp;quot; por lo que los cuartos est&amp;aacute;n equipados con muebles de Vitra y aparatos de Philps que permiten controlar todo. Adem&amp;aacute;s el edificio fue dise&amp;ntilde;ado para crecer pudi&amp;eacute;ndose agregar m&amp;aacute;s cuartos y espacios debido a su dise&amp;ntilde;o modular. Los tipos de &lt;a href="http://www.concreteamsterdam.nl/" target="_blank"&gt;Concrete&lt;/a&gt; hicieron un gran trabajo! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.qbichotels.com/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qbic&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, tambi&amp;eacute;n en Amsterdam ofrece m&amp;aacute;s o menos los mismos servicios que su primo Citizen M, pero aplica la filosof&amp;iacute;a de self-service para todo. Desde el check-in a la comida y bebidas los hu&amp;eacute;spedes cuentan con una terminal donde acceden a todo, sea vino, golosinas, tampones y flash drives USB desde expendedoras. La idea: todo lo que el pasajero necesita dentro de 7 metros cuadrados. No son tan peque&amp;ntilde;os como puedes pensar porque han sido dise&amp;ntilde;ados para dar la sensaci&amp;oacute;n de que son lo suficientemente espaciosos gracias a su equipamiento de alta tecnologia. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.starwoodhotels.com/alofthotels/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aloft&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; es el nuevo hotel de la cadena Starwood pero presentado por W Hotels. The idea is affordable luxury so the rooms are equipped with Vitra iconic furniture and Philips gadgets that let you control everything. In addition the building was designed to grow within the time in order to add more rooms and spaces due its modular concept. The guys from &lt;a href="http://www.concreteamsterdam.nl/" target="_blank"&gt;Concrete&lt;/a&gt; have done a great job! &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.qbichotels.com/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qbic&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; is another dutch hotel with more or less the same services as Citizen M. But Qbic applies the self-service to everything, from check-in to food and beverage. Guests check in at a self-service terminal, and can buy everything from wine and candy to tampons and USB flash drives from vending machines. The idea: all a traveller needs in a 7 square meter room. It's not so small as you may think because it was desgned to feel the rooms airy enough and with high technology. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.starwoodhotels.com/alofthotels/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aloft&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; is the new hotel from Starwood and endorsed by W Hotels. This means that you can find great design in a kind of smaller W. Before its opening Aloft is a &lt;a href="http://www.virtualaloft.com/" target="_blank" title="Aloft in Second Life"&gt;hotel in Second Life&lt;/a&gt; to show in advance its experience.
