Summary:

Admiral Norrington has a strange admiration for Lord Beckett, but is surprised to find himself feeling a bit more... 

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, because I will.”

Admiral Norrington smirked at Lord Beckett’s show of his command over the devil of the sea.  Beckett was so demanding, so unquestionably in power…

Norrington was shocked to feel something smack his backside.  He looked at Beckett, who nodded toward the captain’s cabin, and Norrington saw Beckett’s cane lowering back to his side as the lord’s eyes glinted wickedly.  Startled, Norrington flushed as he realized that Beckett’s action had aroused him.

As Norrington walked away, he felt Beckett’s eyes watching him, and he wondered what Beckett had meant by doing that…
