Summary:

A drabble about James Norrington in Tortuga as he drinks rum and contemplates revenge.

James Norrington looked at the nearly empty bottle of rum and sighed. Why was he still bloody conscious? He hated this life, this hell that he was living. This was all because of Jack Sparrow. He would love to be able to put his hands around the pirate’s throat and squeeze, or to aim his pistol at the pirate’s heart and pull the trigger.

“Oi! Anyone wanting to join the noble crew of the Black Pearl, sign yer name!”

Never had James loved hearing Jack’s voice before now. Quickly finishing off the bottle of rum, James prepared to have revenge.
