Author's Notes: This drabble takes place during the Voyager episode, "The Q and the Grey."
Summary:
A drabble about Kathryn Janeway's response to one of Q's stranger propositions.
He's Mad
A baby. Q wants to have a child…with me.
Apparently the Q Continuum is in the middle of a civil war, and Q believes that mating with me will transform the Continuum. He must be mad. I don’t see how a baby can end a war being fought by a race of omnipotent beings.
And so he goes on to explain—mating will create a new breed of Q, one that has the infinite intellect and power of the Q, and the compassion and conscience of humanity.
It makes sense, in a way.
But I still believe he’s mad.
