I've just experienced a quite considerable pang of anxiety for the welfare of Jeremy. Who? The big stupid annoying plant that I abandoned several months ago.

Despite the fact that I hated him and wanted him to die, it's just dawned on me that he could actually be dead by now. I moved out of the flat that I ejected him from in October, and I haven't been back since. He's been sitting in the communal hallway for 5 months now, quite possibly with no-one looking after him.
I hated him because he took up too much space in my little old flat, and resisted all attempts to limit his 'physical footprint'. But I have a bigger flat now, with a balcony and everything, so maybe he wouldn't be so hateful any more.
I might go and see him tomorrow. I hope he's OK. I feel quite peculiar about it.
