Back to See 'em off! Written on 11-Mar-2009 by DaveyWaveyOK, what the hell is this green stuff?

It's recently sprung up around the trunk of the tree-like thing that lives on my balcony. I don't think it's directly related to the tree-like thing.
Anyone?

This is nothing more than a guess, but I think it's a plant of some description.

Yah. I had assumed that it might be a part of the Kingdom Plantae. For sure.

How do you have plants that are still alive - and looking quite healthy - when you are male? This is the question I want answered!

I don't know about the green stuff (which is new), but everything else on my balcony sort-of fends for itself. (Well, apart from the stuff that is obviously quite dead.)
Bearing in mind that the flat (and balcony) was unoccupied for 9 months last year, I think that everything that survived did so because it rained a lot last year.
Rest assured that any plants that I have to look after myself tend to die within weeks.

Actually it could be an insect. Like rice.

Biggest LOL of the day. Rice isn't a grain y'know, Dave. Despite what people think, it's not.
