In the tradition Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze’s "Ghost" comes another touching film about surpassing life’s greatest trial — letting go of the one you love and trying to move on. Packed with a star-studded cast, "P.S. I Love You" stars two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank ("Million Dollar Baby," "The Reaping"), Gerard Butler ("300" & "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life"), Lisa Kudrow (TV’s "Friends"), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (TV’s "Grey’s Anatomy") and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates. A film of this caliber that actually melts your heart and makes you cry comes along once in a blue moon.

Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) is beautiful, smart, and married to the love of her life—a passionate, funny and impetuous Irishman named Gerry (Gerard Butler). So when Gerry’s life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it’s a good thing he planned ahead.

Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. In the weeks and months that follow, letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way: ‘P.S. I Love You.’

As Gerry appears as her guide, Holly embarks on a touching, exciting and heart-warming journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life.

Stars Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler have distinguished themselves as top-notched Hollywood hitmakers. Hilary Swank starred in the award-winning film alongside Clint Eastwood in "Million Dollar Baby" which won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Earlier in 2007, Butler starred as the Spartan King Leonidas in the blockbuster action movie "300," which broke box-office records in its opening weekend on its way to earning more than 0 million worldwide.

Now, both starring in a touching and inspiring film with an all-star cast to back them up, here’s what they had to tell us about his new movie, "P.S. I Love You":

Q: What do you think about love letters?

Hilary Swank: I think they’re beautiful. I think love letters are great, even if they’re short little notes left in a coat pocket or something.

Gerard Butler: You know, I think that writing letters is definitely a lost art, and there’s something extra special now when somebody actually sits down and writes a hand-written letter. But it’s nice to get a love letter in any way.

Q: When somebody dies, do you think it’s a good idea to still be getting letters and being reminded in such a vivid way that that person is still around?

GB: Well, my moral opinion on this is – there is always the right time to get back into it. I’ve never experienced that before and I think that it probably depends on the person. And you can’t ever have a rule for that. But it is utterly romantic in every sense.

HS: I think it’s more a blessing than a curse but certainly it can be a curse because then that becomes a crutch. And eventually the letters are also going to die, and they can’t keep coming so at some point, you know, the realization of that hits her, and getting over that is a big grieving process as well. But what a beautiful gift to give somebody. When he’s going through this huge thing in losing his life, he’s thinking of his wife and of how he can help her move on. It just shows how illuminating love can be when it’s so unconditional like that.

Q: Which do you prefer, action or romance?

GB: There are things I prefer about both. Normally when I’m doing action I think I prefer romance, and when I’m doing romance I think I prefer action. I think that as much as I’m loving – I’m doin

To all my friends ,this charity means a lot to me,you have probably noticed I have a link to my 'James' website on this site,it would be really nice if you can visit the site linked here & donate to this fitting memorial to this sweet little boy who lost his life so horribly.

Red Balloon Learner Centre - Liverpool: 1,000,000 appeal.
Esther Rantzen, who is a patron of Red Balloon, was inspired to develop the idea of this memorial to James during a visit to Liverpool in 2007. "16th March 2008 would have been James' eighteenth birthday. No life has been more cruelly cut short than that lovely two-year-old, who was murdered fifteen years ago. It is extraordinary that there is no memorial to him. With the help of people in Liverpool and around the world who love and care for children, together we will create James Bulger House, to protect our children and save more lives." Denise Fergus, James' mother, says: "I have witnessed the work that Red Balloon does with bullied children and I am sure that there is a very great need for a learner centre refuge for victims of bullying on Merseyside. If James Bulger House can help save the life of just one child in that terrible situation then it will be a fitting tribute to my son. "
