- Now retired I have for the last ten years been associated with the foremost Jazz promoters in Scotland. i now venue Manage Gigs/concerts at the Edinburgh ..Nairn .. Lockerbie .. Islay ..Dundee and Fife Jazz Festivals and various concerts inbetween all over. I have the honour to be the General Secretary of The Duke Ellington Society UK ( DESUK ). I recently toured ( helping out ) with Tommy Smith and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Special Guest Gary Burton ... and just about to tour with the SNJO, special guest John Scofield.... Greatest Moments include introducing in-stage .. The Count Basie Orch ... The Manhattan Transfer .. Joe Temperley etc
