It looks like things are starting to move forward.

We have got together a working party and so far we have just about secured a site to work from at the Roses sports ground which will be the tarmac court adjacent to the river defences  as can be seen on the ariel picture below  .

Work on a financing bid to install a permanent means of access to the river at the site is under way and container storage for boats and security fencing is being sourced.

 The members are making an application for re-affiliation to the British Rowing Association so as to enable Regatta's and Head of the river races to be entered under the Gainsborough colours.
