How we work with VCs

  • It is our policy to gain the permission or blessing of the VCs that have invested in the companies of each new member we admit
  • Our aim is to work closely with our unofficial list of preferred VCs to develop a mutually beneficial relationship where we can draw on our network of global Venture Advisors, CEOs, member founders and pipeline of prospective members to help partner VCs screen deals, become a trusted source of deal flow and add value over the full cycle of investing, company building and divesting

 

Benefits for VCs and PEs

  • Unique access to qualified deal flow by working closely with us. We research and contact the CEO of every attractive company that has recently raised funding
  • FC is an intense deal flow machine. Our Venture Advisors and existing members constantly refer highly filtered deals to us; giving FC a unique view into which companies are going to raise funding next
  • Liquidity provided from The Club enables entrepreneurs to hold out to sell their company at the optimal time aligning entrepreneur and VC interests. Keep entrepreneurs hungry, but not starving or going through a divorce
  • The Founders Club never touches the cap table, shareholder agreement, articles, etc. We are a silent partner without any political voting rights or corporate governance. The Club does not seek a board seat
  • Membership provides direct access to the tier I VCs and other investors of the other companies in The Founders Club
