HELP US FIND GIZMO

HELP FIND GIZMO

How Can I help

There are several ways that you can help us find Gizmo

1) Check Gizmo is not on your own property, especially if you live in the Enfield/Egerton/Brackley or surrounding areas.  It is important that you do this even if you have not been in the garage/outbuilding etc recently as cats can get into the smallest areas (unbeknown to you) but sometimes can't get out!!!

In particular, please check:

  • your cellar including in washing machine / dishwasher / tumble drier therein
  • fireplaces / dustbin / water butt / compost bin / sheds / garages
  • green houses / outside toilets/ vehicles / Gardens / hedgerows
  • any other outbuildings

2) If there are any unoccupied properties nearby that you have access to (temporary e.g. people on holiday, or permanent) , please will you:

  •  check all outbuilding as per above
  •  check Gizmo is not in the property - he may have nipped in whilst they were packing!!

3) If there are any unoccupied properties nearby that you don't have access to, please will you:

  •  try to do a visual check of all outbuilding as per above
  • try shouting/looking through the letterbox
  • inform the owner if possible to see if access can be gained to check
  • advise the owner on their return
  • let us know (use the 'Contact Us' link at the top of the page) and provide us with as much detail regarding the property owner as possible and we'll endeavour to complete the checks

4)  Let as many people as possible know about Gizmo whilst carrying out your day to day business. Suggestions include:

  • Local pubs, hairdressers, Post Office, postman, Restaurants (Gizmo may be looking for food), Community Centre
  • Golf Course, local Churches, Petrol Stations, Taxi drivers, Doctors Surgeries, local shops, Schools

You can point relevant people to this website for further information.  Posters can also be downloaded and printed off locally from the 'Download' section of this website.
