Speedline Textiles PUL

Speedline Textiles are an Aussie manufacturer of PUL (polyurethane laminate). PUL is useful as a waterproof layer in nappies, mattress protectors, wet bags etc. It's more breathable than PVC plastic, and can take tumble drying on the low heat setting.

This PUL is thicker than Fabrite PUL, but just as effective for waterproofing and much cheaper. The fabric is polyester, not cotton, so makes a good hidden layer too (no wicking issues). Fabric bolt is 153cm wide (six nappy cuts per metre), and I estimate a metre to weigh 276g. It will be $6.50/m (estimated cost - will confirm price when I get a better idea of how many rolls I'm ordering). This includes shipping to me. It does not include shipping to you.

This fabric comes in a wide range of colours, but I stick to a couple of colours per co-op as it gives us more chance of meeting minimums:

Note: the silver colour is not metallic - it's just a lighter shade of grey.
