Youth-led Research
The Commission's research is truly a youth-led project. Young people are leading the development of the hypotheses, conducting the research and interviews, and analysing the data. We are seeking to answer the following question:
How can society better equip young people to make a lasting positive impact on their world?
The Commission is conducting an ongoing research project comprised of focus groups, research surveys, and qualitative interviews. The scope of our research is from apathetic to engaged and from primary school to post grad. We will be asking what issues young people care about, what actions they think are most effective, and what they are actually doing about it.
Our first focus group will take place in late November and more are scheduled for early next year. We are currently recruiting other young people interested in getting involved with our research as Field Research and Policy Research Interns.
The inclusion of youth throughout our research methodology is informed by the Commission's goal to make youth-facing organisations truly youth led.
