Awesome indeed. That's some truly forward thinking from our Chinese friends! I suppose it may go some way towards dealing with the over-population issue.

This rule should be implemented all over the world. I'm sending it to the UN.

Good luck. Do you have a husband you wish to kill? Are you good with your hands?

    Co_inne [http://www.myspace.com/co_inne] says:

I'm not one who's likely to take a husband. But if I did, with my choice of men, I would be very likely to kill him someday. I am very good with my hands.

Hmmmm, does this amount to a prospective admission of guilt?

    Co_inne [http://www.myspace.com/co_inne] says:

Whose? Mine? I'm not guilty of anything! But you know what will happen? A married man will cheat WITH me, and his wife will end up shooting me or nun-chucking me to death. And he never told me he was married, of course.

    chickerino says:

Either way, I'm sorry for the pain you are going to suffer!

Thanks. Not sure if and when I'll be visiting Hong Kong though...

  • written on 28-Aug-2008

    chickerino says:

Does this mean you can trick your future estranged ex-husband into visiting Hong Kong (perhaps Nigerian scam style) and then legally kill him?

    paulsari says:

From a male perspective, there is a fairly pain-free resolution to this dilemma: just don't get married.

A mate had his wedding this year and in the evening, he and I went for a quick drink, when he said to me, "if you don't have to get married, don't do it!"

I would need convincing to think his scepticism naive.

Paul: Almost perfectly simplistic genius. However you are forgetting one thing - It is often easier *said* than done.

just cos you're in wuuuuuuuuuvvvv siany!

anyway, marriage isn't romance - it's an expensive show and a financial contract. mostly depressing stuff imho

    SianMeades says:

wanting to spend the rest of your life with one person is the most romantic thing in the world.

somewhat tarnished by killing them with your bare hands and throwing their mistress through a window...

Corinne to the rescue! :-P Don't back Sian into a corner and circle around her guys, that's another thread on Kris' blog! Jaded (although I prefer the term 'realistic') as I am, I even find myself longing for romance sometimes. And I agree with Sian, wanting to spend the rest of your life with one person is the most romantic thing in the world, it happening very, very unlikely.

    paulsari says:

Shortly before the Euro 2008 final, discussing my alleigance for that game, I said I wanted Spain to win to a group of cabrones hispanohablantes. My mate said announced to the others present that I am a "cambiachaquetas" (lit. a "jacket changer"), so don't be surprised if I start supporting Germany half way through. I think he had a point.

You suck, you should have supported Holland! Hup, Holland, Hup!

I admire your honesty, Paul. I was much the same for the whole of Euro2k8.

Apart from the first game or 2, Holland blew. You have to admit.

    3. And the Russians sucked big fat donkey cock, we should have won that game as well. The whole tournament as far as I'm concerned. It's the only time I'm ever chauvinistic, may I? I don't look that bad in orange even.

    albertob says:

In this great Japanese movie "the Realm Of Senses", the woman strangles the lover to dead while having sex as the ultimate erotic and love act.
Maybe that's what they are talking about.

    Why, was it a 3sum?

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    albertob says:

nope, but something happens when a guy is being strangled. Guess where the blood goes?

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    paulsari says:

I am afraid I don't empathise with feelings of national pride, and, against Holland, I think the Russians actually had the big fat donkey cock and stuck it quite hard up the Dutch ***e. ... Nonetheless, I am sure I could still support Holland if that were what was required.

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    Co_inne [http://www.myspace.com/co_inne] says:

Yeah too late now Paul... Next time, dress in orange please, and yell "Hup, Holland, Hup!" a lot!

Alberto, before or after you scratch his eyes out?

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    paulsari says:

OK, got it! I'll be head to toe in orange. ;-)

Damn, I hate when I miss the boat or the canal barge as the case may be.

Yeah it was good fun, just like queen's day. Check the pics on MySpace!

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    paulsari says:

Aw, I see one no longer needs to be a registered myspace user to view your website. Nice!

Does your attire on queen's day or Konigginedag, if one so will, not suggest that your chauvinism may have extended beyond Euro 2008? And does that mean that you were lying earlier?? :P

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    Co_inne [http://www.myspace.com/co_inne] says:

Well, I don't believe in the queen, the dressing in orange on that day is just a for of camouflage. During football matches I DO believe in our national team and feel the Holland spirit.

  • written on 29-Aug-2008

    paulsari says:

Camouflage? righty ho.. on a beach with red sand? or in front of an enormous translucent can of tango?

Ya, I have heard the Dutch queen's not quite where it's at. Still, she must be less ridiculous than prince charles on the topic of which I have one or two less than complimentary opinions.

Then, we'll all be getting orange at World Cup 2010. I look forward it.
