Casting LGBT for the 'Coming Out Project,' a Teen LGBT Suicide Prevention Documentary Film that will inspire, educate, and comfort youth that have had a hard time coming out, lost family or friends (by coming out to them), don’t know how to come out, or who feel ostracized for being gay. Suicide is the leading cause of death among 15-24 year olds and 40% of those who attempt suicide every year are LGBT youth. The goal of this project is to share stories of individuals who have 'Come Out,' succeeded in life and can provide hope for the future to LGBT youth. We are seeking authentic LGBT individuals from all walks of life; diverse ages, professions, ethnicities, parent/child, siblings, gay couples, etc.. willing to share their 'Coming Out Story' and participate in a nonprofit film. Have fun being a part of a project that makes a difference in the world, add experience to your resume and earn copy / credit.

Auditions: Currently accepting video auditions only. Video record a two-minute monologue about what makes your 'Coming Out' story unique and what challenges you have overcome to be successful in your LGBT life. $25 Fee. Absolutely no drop-offs or phone calls. We need to -visually- see and hear how you present yourself and your story in order to consider you for this project, do not just send us a resume and headshot.
