 Upcoming:  Timberfell Lodge, August 12-14, 2011  National CMNM Meet-up Weekend in conjunction with the Mr. Timberfell 2011 Contest,  (Greeneville, Tenn - 65 mile east of Knoxville).   A weekend of partying, music and nudity at a all-male, rural country resort with clothing optional pool, campgrounds,  lodge,  etc,

   CMNM Meet-up at Swinging Richards,  August   16??, 2011 (date not set yet) , 8:30pm - midnight or later,  No cover charge on Tuesdays  at this all male, all nude strip club for gay men in downtown Atlanta, Georgia (USA).

 Trying to find the best Social Network - The Making of  CMNM Communities online

 

 It's a continuing saga.  Ning.com,  one of the world's largest social networks after Facebook,  decided to remove all adult-content, sexually explicit/graphic groups in January 2009.   Now it seems that others will be going that way too or at least making it difficult to host such groups. 

 After exploring SocialGo.com as a potential new home for our Guys Into CMNM Ning (which was deleted by Ning as of January 1, 2009), I was resigned to choosing it after having explored quite a few alternative. But recently (12/28/2008), I discovered WebJam. It's a whole lot better -- for what I want in a social networking site, but it's got its limitations - as do they all.  Since then, SocialGo has decided to ask adult-content, sexually graphic groups to start paying beginning in April. At $49 a month, it's not worth it and I doubt anyone wants to share the cost. Therefore, the CMNM.socialgo.com group will moved and eventually removed.    Fortunately:  As of July 2009, CmNm.socialgo.com is still operating; and now it is actually slowing growing in membership.   You must be logged in to view any pages. Another rather new entry into the social networking market is Grou.ps (yes... it has a 'period' in that word).

  I have started a Guys Into CMNM group on Grou.ps:  The URL  is http://grou.ps/cmnm 

In the end, it was a bit tough to decide which social network site is best. In the end, I chose adaptability and customization over ease and simplicity.  But that's not true for everyone I realize - some people don't like to have to learn new sites or new ways of presenting or getting info and photo, vids.   Therefore, there will now be several Guys Into CMNM social networking sites, in several  different Guys On CMNM online communities:  socialgo.com, webjam.com, grou.ps. facebook.com, and a few more......

As time goes by, members will tend to gravitate to the one(s) that have more appeal, functionality, ease-of-use, and immediate usability for them.  Size does matter (lol).. so when there are lots of members, new members get invited to join, or hear about it from someone who is or who knows a member.   So please be friendly and add new friends in whatever social network you choose.

So.... that's how I will operate the Guys Into CMNM Ring of Networks -- there will be at least five (or more) different types of CMNM networks:

 Guys Into CMNM    Ring of Social Networks   - pick out the one that suits you. 

Webjam  http://www.webjam.com/cmnm   -  The most flexible, customizable, and most like Ning (except for Video gallery), embedded video OK, multiple page profiles with many kinds of modules (widgets, RSS feeds, etc). It continues to grow slowly. 

SocialGo http://cmnm.socialgo.com         - Slow, simple interface,  little customization possible, it has the basics, but was soon abandoned by the large adult content networks, rumored to become for-pay soon  (will be moved to Socialgo's new adult-content service on Feb 15 and they will be charging in April -- thus TO BE DELETED April 1, 2009).  For some strange reason, it still existed until July 2010, but it was abruptly deleted by Socialgo shortly after that (August 10, 2010)>

So I started a new Ning-type network on the new site Sociaparadox.com but you can no longer visit or join it at:   http://guysn2cmnm.socialparadox.com  because this one was deleted too within one month as of August 2010).

Grou.ps   http://grou.ps/cmnm       -  Poor designed and buggy code, might have potential, but you can only share video from Youtube (and two other non-porno sites), embeddable vids in Wiki (Wall) only (not blogs).

NOTE about Grou.ps : ( June 2009) They gradually made progress with the Grou.ps site, adding some new functionality and -- most importantly - some speed. Recently, there have been many new members joining (over 1200) and the Video (embedded) has greatly improved.  However, many of the large Grou.ps (Dan's Public Sex, for example, etc) have been turned into 'subscription' only membership. You have to pay (or sign-up for adverts/products, etc) in order to earn 'credits' to pay for your subscription.   I don't think it will be too long before they force all adult content grou.ps to pay for subscription membership. 

Orkut:  http://www.orkut.com/Main#Community.aspx?rl=cpn&cmm=57809762  (recently Orkut has cracked down on adult / sexual content).My gmail id can longer log into Orkut. So I doubt the CMNM still exists.

Queerclique:     IT WAS  DELETED with one-month's notice on October 31, 2010  There is (was after Oct 31, 2010) a CMNM group inside Queerclique (which uses the former Socialgo  network as its 'branded' host server). Queerclique is the free social networking community for QueerClick (the commercial gay porn mega-blog and gallery site). Membership requires aproval.   The 200+ members of the CMNM group inside Queerclique were invited to join one of our other Guys Into CMNM networks.  
   P.S.  Queerclick serves often a primary source for gay porn studio content.  At least so far, they have not minded (and probably appreciate) my using there content since I always leave the links to return back to Queerclick site or directly to the advertiser.

Facebook Group: CMNM Dudes Group      I founded this group in Facebook. It's the second such group. The first time I was deleted,  so it was moderated by someone else. Because adult content is strictly banned (not so much in private profile) and nude photos are not allowed,  the group was not very active, and then was deleted early in 2009.  I learned this the hard way - my first FB account was summarily deleted (and so was my profile and status). 

However, I started another Facebook group and also several related pages.  There is even a Facebook Application where you can view all the content the Grou.ps/cmnm  social network while you are inside Facebook.

   The list of planned (and simply possible) CMNM events might give you some ideas for a cmnm hook-up, meet-up, party or event that you can organize your area.

There are other possibilities too:

1) Co-organize or cooperate with one of the nudist and/or gay men's groups in your area.  Join it or contact the president/coordinator.   Some such groups have a 'no sexual behavior' policy; however, many of them do not and allow discreet sexual activities at their events - at least many of their members may be interested in attending a CMNM event / party.

2)  Try a new type of event:

    Nude Picnic

   Naked Camping Trip

    Naked Wine Tasting

    Benefit Fashion Show and Naked Lunch

    Artist Live Drawing Session with multiple nude models

   Naked Hike  (in some areas there are already such groups that exist, or you might be able to convince a textile sporting or outdoors recreation group to make a 'special event' just for the community's nudist and cmnm men.

   Such as naked volleyball, nude beach excursion,  nude surfing, sailing, diving/snorkeling or other marine (or lake) sport

 Naked Soccer/softball... etc

3) Hold something in conjunction with gay pride events or parade in your area.

4) Hold a World Naked Bike Ride event or similar social protest or environmental march.  You'll get both naked (or almost naked) and clothed participants.

Well. you get the idea. There are many possibilities.
