April 5th was a powerful day of worship for the Carbondale Mission of the Community of Christ church. We reached out to the Lord on behalf of those listed above and we remembered Jesus in a way that I am sure He would be pleased. As we gathered around a table, just as Jesus and his twelve might have 2000 years ago, Elder Gustave told us once again of the story of the final week of the life of our Lord. Then we ate the bread and drank the wine just as they did and together we sang of our faith and our hope. With palm leaves leading us into the worship area and decorating the table, we felt the presence of the Spirit in a most powerful way.
