Hi Guys
Just wanted to let you all know that i am going out to Zimbabwe in April of next year, i will be part of a work team and to be quite honest i am not sure of what i will actually be doing. I am willing to do whatever is required of me. Can i have continued prayer for my son Daniel. Also i have to raise my own funds and i would appreciate your prayers.

BROKEN PIECES THE JERRY EVERS STORY. I spent over 20 years in law enforcement. I retired March 2011. I have given my testimony in churches all up and down the east coast. I have see lives changed, the lost come to know Christ and families restored. I have been on a number of Christian TV shows. My story was in Home Life magazine (1995) Georgia Christian Index. My story has also been in hundreds of newspapers as well has on TV news. I became a Christian May 28,1978 . It seemed that the devil wanted to destroy me after I accepted Christ. He almost did when my little girls were murdered. After their deaths I would cry out to God in so much pain begging for him to give them back. 1981 I surrendered to Gods call on my life. I enrolled into Bible Collage (Trinity Baptist Collage) in Jacksonville Florida. I left Bible College in 1982 a broken and defeated man because my wife who murdered my kids divorced me. She did this after she was found not guilty in the death of my little girls. The judge felt she was insane at the time she committed the act. She was sent to the Florida State hospital where she is at today.
I wonder around helping churches. I even pastor a few but it would always end up in a disaster. Being divorced was not a acceptable thing in most churches. So I give up and tried to find me a wife. This to would be a disaster also. So I tried it Gods way and begin to pray, asking God would I have to be alone on this earth. I told him what I wanted in a wife that would love me and accept me and what had happen to my little girls. Boy God answered my prayers the same day I prayed it. That night I went to a gospel sing for singles in Baxley Georgia. I walked in and saw the prettiest women I had ever seen. I found out her name (Dorrie) that night and they were going to have another outing on that following Monday.
Well I went to it and as I sat in the restaurant I watch her eat and she did it so pretty. After we all ate coffee was being brought around. There was a older lady sitting next to me. She wanted to pour my coffee. Well she missed my cup. Hot coffee went all over me. I was on fire but it was not for Jesus. I looked over at these pretty women across from me and her face was red. She felt bad for me. The coffee wasn't so hot then.
After the meeting was over I was able to catch that pretty lady before she got in her car. I asked her out and I thought she was going to turn me down because it took her so long to let me know. We went out that following Friday night and God started a love between us that has never died. We have been married 24 years now and still going strong. We have 3 kids who are young adults now. My baby daughter is 18 my son is 20 and my oldest daughter is 22. God has blessed me in so many way. He has taken the bad thing in my life and is making good come from it. I have seen so many lives changed when I have went to churches to give my testimony. God has used me in so many ways.

Please pray about allowing me to come to your church to give my testimony.

You guys please pray for our church and myself this weekend as we have rented out an entire movie theater for the Christian film- Courageous. At the conclusion I will be giving the gospel message to all in attendance (we need to give away 295 tickets in total- pray God will lead us to the ones He would have to be there)

I am happy in my heart tonite, gentlemen. The Lord allowed me to be a tool in the bringing of an old high school friend to the saving knowledge of Christ tonite. I am humble that I was the one that was able to guve him the truth.

Just had an amazing opportunity to witness to a former Highway Patrol officer who now works with a home security company. He stopped by the church to present some info. In our conversation He said he hopes he will go to heaven. God opened the door for me to share the gospel & pray with him. Please pray that God will make His truth known to him & open his eyes of understanding to be saved. his name is Rich. God is so amazing!
