Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix July 24 and 25

Looking forward to the Vintage Grand Prix again this year at Scenley Park in Pittsburgh. This is a great show with tons of vintage cars including British, German, American, Italian and yes, even Asian! Every year the Asian field grows with some nice vintage Honda's, Toyotas and Mazdas and Nissan's....hope to see more there again this year. I will have the prelude there both Saturday and Sunday.

Carlisle Import Show this weekend

Anyone planning on attending the Import Show at Carlisle this weekend? I will be there Saturday with the prelude and will be camping on site that night and hanging around for a while on sunday.

Hemmings Sports & Exotics Magazine - prelude shoot

At Carlisle this year my 82 Prelude was photographed and is in the October issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotics. Nice multi page article on the history of the 1st gen lude along with specs and pictures of my car. The people at Hemmings were great to work with both during the shoot and afterwards as we gathered info for the article. Since there was also a mention of this site in the magazine...i expect there may be some new members joining...welcome! Guess i need to do some updating on the site...

Carlisle Import-Kit/Replica Nationals

Carlise has added a class this year for the growing # of vintage japanese cars. You can go to the website www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/import to read more about it. I will certainly be attending and hope to take both preludes to the show. Anyone that is interested, please let me know. My gameplan would be to go on Saturday AM, stay the evening in a hotel (about 15 minutes out of town where i stay each year when i got to other carlisle events), spend a few hours on sunda and drive home sunday afternoon.

I have been to this event in the past and there used to be a handful of japanese cars 20 - 30....but from what i have heard the numbers have been growing each year. The event is open to all imports, from japanese to italian, german etc.... lots of great stuff plus one of a kind kit cars and replicas.

Welcome to some new members in September and October - smithenhiven, cragb and NSXLUDE - that adds a number of 1st Gen preludes as well as an S600 - can't wait to see some pictures from them!

Glad to see the comunity growing! I know there are 3 more enthusiasts that have contacted me and should be signing up this week. Please pass the site along to anyone you know with an interest in classic hondas. The link section should be updated shortly with a number of sites that are interested in being linked as well as linking the site to thiers.

Nice to see some people already signing up and adding pictures of their cars. We are working on the link section right now, reaching out to other sites to get their permission as well as a link from them to get a flow of traffic and potential new members to the site. Please invite anyone that you know that would be interested so that the site can continue to grow!

There will be a new section on the forum shortly where we can plan get togethers and let eachother know about shows or meets comming up.
