This shower was thrown together in 2 weeks time! My sister n law's first pregnancy & bed rest orders delayed the shower then last minute decided let's just do it... So I rummaged through my storage shelves to piece together centerpieces. We really wanted to cut costs and recycle what I already had as a new baby cost money & I myself was in a wedding in the same month so budget was very tight. We reduced, reused, & recycled, except for the diapers of course! Using blank Thank you cards I created a simple invite by overlaying with a small printed piece of scrapbook paper. We used plaids, greens, pinks, yellows, & our party favors were small ceramic baby shoes filled with mints and adorned with ribbon. As my gift to her I created diaper cakes for a few of the tables, used as decorations and to stock up for baby.
