So a few nights ago my neighbor says to me "Let's go swimming down at Whatcom Falls after we put the kids to bed". I agree that this sounds like a fabulous idea, so we make it a date. We get the kids to bed and take off. The park is in the shade so when we stepped out of the car, the hot summer afternoon when we made this plan was long gone. Since we're both doing it, we can't chicken out. So we make the short trek to the swimming hole by the small falls and dip our toes in - surprisingly warm! Jumping in after that however, didn't feel as warm. But after a few minutes we got used to it and had the best time. We laughed harder than I have in years. I felt like a total kid again. We were climbing up on logs, jumping off, trying to swim up to the falls through the current. We swam and played for an hour and left when it was finally getting dark. Here's a picture to prove I was in the water, and then a funny one of us thinking we were 16 again on the trail going back to the car.

you will regret setting up my login in for me once you see what a stalker I am!! I wish I lived just down the street and could walk down and see P everyday and go swimming with you at night...boohoo. I am glad that you guys have such great friends in the neighborhood though! See if your neighbors in the greenhouse are interested in "donating" it to the Ryan family!
