I'm normally not a whiny person. It doesn't accomplish anything, but sometimes I just get so frustrated I need to vent. Like yesterday.

Well, tonight I picked my son up from school and he wanted to bring a friend over. I escaped to the garage and intended to at least organize and clean up. I didn't think I had the energy to make anything (I was up late last night and had to get up early today). I turned the concentrators and kiln on, thinking at least they would be ready if the mood struck. Maybe because I didn't intend or expect to make anything my muse decided it was time.

I had the best session I've had in months. I have to qualify that and say that I haven't had more than 10 hours total at the torch in the past two months. Still, it was awesome and I think I have a really nice focal to complete a set that's been incomplete since last summer. My heat control and stringer work is almost back up to speed.

Now maybe I'll have some beads to put in my shop again!

Congrats - you never know when things are just going to gel like that. I've had a few sessions that I though would be great end up with absolutely nothing, then one that I really squeezed in come out with twice the normal work!
