This past Thursday Caryn Turner hosted an evening fellowship time for the mom's at Bethlehem who have a child with disabilities. It was a delight to listen as the ladies visited with one another.

It was a joy-filled evening!

The dessert table was beautiful. Caryn made a delicious punch and dipped fresh strawberries. Some of Caryn's Bible study friends made bars.

Nice turnout!!

Caryn shared a devotion on Ecclesiastes 3:1,11. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. He has made everything beautiful in its time. She shared about some of the times it is and has been hard to be the mom of a child with disabilities and how wonderful it is to have time with believers whose lives have brought similar trials. The devotion gave God the glory for making even the hard times "beautiful in its time." Many of the mom's shared their own poignant testimonies.

God-willing the plan is to have a similar mom's gathering quarterly.

I was blessed to be an observer Thursday night. I don't have a child with disabilities, but working in the ministry has given me a special love for these dear ladies.
