This was the storm we experienced on 16 November 2008. At around 2.15 pm on Sunday afternoon, it started to thunder, then we had lightning and then the electricity went off. After that the heavens opened and down came the rain, severe winds then hail. It thundered down on our tin roof and when it was over, we surveyed the damage. In our case we got off lightly with only holes in our veranda roof, however others were not so lucky.

Quality is not too good as it was taken with my still camera. The noise you hear is the rain on the roof!
