I have been working on this over the Christmas period and (because I am not myself an SEO expert) have been finding out lots about how it is done. It is all very interesting and indeed amazing how much work has to go into making yourself visible.

One of the key things is to actually have some relevant content on the site - the second is to have inbound links that show that this content is valid and valuable.

Obviously you can't expect anyone to find you under web design if you do not have anything about web design on your website. Sounds like stating the obvious but I have learnt that the obvious is in fact easy to miss.
