- First and foremost I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. My family is the most important part of my life especially my 3 beautiful granddaughters...they are the real payoff!
I am above all an extremely creative person. I have worked in creative positions for more than 35 years...Designing men's clothing for a fortune 500 company, as a self-employed interior decorator, and creating marketing graphics for a small privately held electrical supplies distributor.
I started stringing beads about 2 years ago and quickly moved on to more complicated techniques using sterling silver and copper wire and sheet metal. I really love transforming metal into art jewelry, quite often influenced by the creations of Mother Nature. Having spent several years studying hand-built and wheel thrown pottery, I am looking forward to trying my hand at creating with metal clay.
As my husband and I are nearing our full-time retirement, I am taking the necessary steps to develop and promote, what I hope will be, a lucrative art jewelry business to supplement our diminishing incomes.
