Lent at All Saints 2011

Lent Tuesdays

There are lunchtime prayers in church at 12.30pm each Tuesday during Lent. The passage from Matthew for the day will be read and there will be a brief prayer service lasting about 20 minutes. If you are able to stay and chat why not bring your packed lunch with you too?

The Big Read 2011

All Saints is taking part in this national programme to read through the whole of Mathhew's Gospel day by day during Lent using the book  Lent for Everyone:Matthew by Tom Wright.

You can find out more about the Big Read 2011 nationally on its website here;  to understand how what we are doing at All Saints is happening all over the country. For those  who are internet-minded you can join the various Facebook and Twitter discussions as people share what they are finding out as they read through St Matthew for themselves or watch Tom Wright speak on Youtube here.
