Advent and Christmas Special Services 2010

Sunday 28th November

6.30pm Candlelit Service of Advent Carols and readings with All Saints Church Choir                                                                          

Sunday 5th December

"Waiting" A morning of workshops on prayer, meditation  and silence , ending with bring and share lunch (follows 9.30am Service).

Sunday 12th December

4pm The Christingle Service. An atmospheric service which is a delight for both children and adults.   This service supports The Children's Society charity. Refreshments after the service in The Cornerstone.

Sunday 19th December

11.15am Informal Service with Children's Nativity.  Classic nativity tableau produced by Junior Church and involving all children. 

CHRISTMAS EVE Friday 24th December

3pm Christmas Crib Service. A really special service for children of all ages with traditional carols and All Saints Music Group. Feel free to dress as your favourite character from the Christmas story!

6pm Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. Traditional service of Christmas music led by All Saints Church Choir. Sing the great Christmas carols and hear the Christmas story in the Bible.

11.15pm First Communion of Christmas or "Midnight Communion". Celebrate the arrival of Christmas Day in this joyful service. Carols with All Saints Church Choir and a Christmas message.

CHRISTMAS DAY Saturday 25th December

8am Holy Communion. A quiet meditative service.

9.30am Parish Communion for All Ages. Children are welcome at this friendly family service for Christmas morning with carols and a talk aimed at all ages.

FEAST OF STEPHEN, FIRST MARTYR Sunday 26th December

9.30am Parish Communion (Please note: no service at 8am on this Sunday)
