This is part of the email from George Eccles of Exeter Harriers to Paul Lowman, Chairman of Honiton Running Club after the Open Athletics meeting on April 28th
Dear Paul
I was really impressed by your athletes who came to the open meeting last night.
Their politeness and sense of fun and competitiveness are a credit to you and your coaching team.
I enjoyed working with them as did Jon Milum our hammer expert.
I look forward to seeing colleague coaches and athletes again next month.
Thank you for your support of our open meeting and I can assure you have some throwers with great potential bearing in mind their first time hammer and shot experiences last night.
All the best.
George
Paul has sent the full email to your parents so ask them to see it. Here is part of what Paul wrote:
Hi Everyone
It was a genuine privilege for me to receive praise for you, the athletes. The obvious professionalism you displayed while visiting the Harriers at home and your display of talent can only benefit you and your club …
Thanks to all of you that attended for maintaining such a high standard of behaviour & performance.
Finally thank you to all of the coaches whose work and skills have been rewarded so quickly.
