After about 4-6 weeks of attending Cubs you find you are enjoying the meetings and you would like to continue, we will arrange a date for your investiture ceremony.
This is where all of the Cubs will officially welcome you into the Pack and your Cub Scout Leader will invest you by presenting you with your six's woggle, a Pack badge and an invesiture certificate. If you are new into Cubs, our Group Scout Leader will welcome you into the Group and present you with the Group kneckie and loads of badges. Your family will be invited to the investiture ceremony as well as they may want to take photograghs.
During the ceremony you will be asked to say the Cub Scout Promise and the Cub Scout Law, this will be on your invite in case you would like to memorise them both. But don't worry if you can't remember the words, your Cub Scout Leader, Rama or Chil, will help you on the night.
I promise that I will do my best
to do my duty to my God and to the Queen
to help other people and to keep the Cub Scout Law
